About Us

Mission Statement

The University of Connecticut’s Graduate Finance Association (GFA) is a student-run organization that is open to all graduate students. Our mission is to prepare our members for careers in and related to finance, which will be accomplished through a series of networking activities, workshops, and educational events. Overall, the GFA seeks to enhance the Graduate School of Business experience for all of its members, while focusing on the following areas of finance:

  • Corporate Finance

  • Investment Banking

  • Private Wealth Management

The GFA fosters a collaborative learning environment. Its members, faculty, and those in the external network, will constantly work together to better serve the University of Connecticut’s School of Business programs and its surrounding communities.
